Raavan

Directed by the one of India's most talented directors, Mani Ratnam, Raavan promises to be a masterpiece in all respects. The movie has Abhishek Bachchan playing the role of Raavan, who kidnaps Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Raavan has music by A R Rahman and the initial promos point to a soulful movie with lot of action sequences.
However, it'd be wise not to go to the theaters expecting to see an old classic repeat of Ramayana. The initial promos show Abhishek Bachchan riding a bike, so rest assured, the movie has a modern linkage with contextual reference to the Ramayana.
The movie is also being made in Tamil with the name Raavanan, and will have a slightly different starcast from the Hindi version.
